ECR Day

EuPA is regularly organizing Virtual Events for Early Career Researchers (ECRs) in Proteomics. During those events, young talents in the field are invited to present their achievements. Thus, in 2022, the recipients of the 2021 EuPA Vision and Commitment Award, the EuPA Best PhD Prize, and the EuPA Bioinformatics for Mass Spectrometry Award were honoured.

The events take place in the customized virtual city Proteopolis on Gather.town. There, the activities of the Young Proteomics Investigators and the European Bioinformatics Clubs (YPIC and EuBIC) are promoted and participants can interact and network in a nice and friendly environment.

In 2022 the event was also featured a company job fair, providing a great opportunity for ECRs at all career stages to interact with talent-seeking companies in our field! Students could also participate in the first European proteomics science slam.

Based on the positive feedback, we intend to include all the time proteomics science slam to the program of the ECR Day. Come and be part of our next ECR event!
