Dr. Dr. Sebastian Porsdam Mann is Professor of Bioethics at the University of Copenhagen. His research focuses on scientific freedom, responsibility, and the “right to science,” examining how emerging technologies reshape the norms and accountability structures that guide research. He has written extensively on the ethical and legal implications of AI in academic contexts, including questions of authorship, transparency, and scientific responsibility.
In this webinar, Dr. Dr. Porsdam Mann will discuss how the increasing use of AI in research challenges established ideas about responsibility and integrity in science. Drawing on his work in bioethics and innovation law, he will provide a framework for thinking about how AI can be integrated into scientific practice while maintaining trust and accountability.
