The Student Proteomics Fund (SPF) is a small grant aimed at Bachelor, Master and PhD students from European universities (EuPA member countries, see guidelines for more details). This grant is designed to help fund a proteomics experiment for researchers of all fields. Prior proteomics experience is not required. The SPF covers the grantee’s experiment costs but no overhead costs or salaries. The maximum funding is 5000 Euros.
After evaluating SPF applications, the three young scientists with the highest project score will be invited to the 3rd YPIC Annual Proteomics Gathering, to be held in Madrid, Spain, on April 16th, 2026. Travel and accommodation expenses will be covered, and candidates will be expected to present their project ideas to the audience. The fund recipient will be announced at the end of the event.
The call for applications is open! Submit your application here.
Applications should be uploaded on the appropriated Google Forms that will be posted on this page. Guidelines can be found here.
